‘One Person, 10 Votes’: Akhilesh Yadav Flags Multiple Voter Entries, Questions SIR & EC

Lucknow (UP), October 19 (ANI): Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav raised questions over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise, alleging that one person having 10 votes, with entries spread across four polling booths, raised serious concerns. He rejected the characterisation of such discrepancies as minor errors and said the Election Commission was acknowledging irregularities in voter lists and would correct them. Yadav credited Samajwadi Party workers and PDA Praharis for highlighting the alleged discrepancies.
