New Delhi, October 19 (ANI) On potential joint projects, research partnerships, and ventures during the Polish Prime Minister's visit, Poland's Ambassador to India, Piotr Antoni Switalski, says, "The joint mission of an Indian and Polish astronaut on the Axiom-4 mission—this mission is a symbolic act, and we hope very much that the space industry can be a very promising chapter in our economic relations. There are companies in Poland interested in very concrete investment projects in India. Already now, we are witnessing the first contracts and cooperation agreements between Indian companies, for instance in the AI field, and Polish space companies. So I don't want to prejudge, but the space dimension will be included in the agenda. It will be one of the topics to be discussed in the plenary discussions..." He further adds, "People-to-people ties are very important, and I note with satisfaction that Indian citizens constitute the number one national group in terms of resident permits issued by Poland. Indians by far exceed the resident permits from other countries, including from our European neighbors, which is a good thing. Of course, most of them find employment in Indian companies that are already present in Poland, and we encourage more Indian investment. There are students. If you ask me, the possibilities are much stronger... That's why I said, India is a beautiful brand. Poland is a friendly gateway to Europe."
