Ranchi (Jharkhand), Oct 15, 2026 (ANI): Braj Mohan Ram, newly appointed Governor of Odisha, cleared air on BJP controversy and said, "I have been entrusted with a responsibility; I will shoulder it in coordination with everyone. It will take time to adjust a little in the beginning, but I will do it...I will work within the ambit of the Constitutional post. There is a difference between a politician and a Constitutional post. So, I will have to maintain this and work." On his reported statement of "...will work to strengthen the BJP’s organisation in Odisha," he says, "No, I did not say this. I said that I will work in coordination with everyone. I am now above party politics, but the party I belong to is my capital. I will always have affinity and love for that party. But I will not work for any particular party. Hum sabke hain, sab hamare hain..."
