Hanuman Temple and Mazar demolished ‘peacefully’ in Delhi’s Bhajanpura to widen road

New Delhi, July 2 (ANI): In a bid to widen road for Saharanpur Highway, a Temple and a Mazar were removed in Delhi’s Bhajanpura area. Security forces were deployed in the area to maintain law and order situation. The police personnel even offered prayers at the Temple before removing it. DCP Northeast informed that the anti-encroachment drive was carried out peacefully. However, the chief priest of the temple alleged that Lord Hanuman’s temple was vandalised. Delhi’s Education Minister Atishi also opposed the demolition of the temple
