UP: Animals at Kanpur zoo get special treatment to beat the heat

Kanpur (UP), May 18 (ANI): Amid soaring temperatures, the authorities of the Kanpur Zoological Park in Uttar Pradesh have made special arrangements for animals to beat the heat and stay cool. Fans and coolers were among the arrangements installed for the animals by the Zoo authorities. The enclosures are covered with curtains to prevent the inmates from direct sun rays. Adequate arrangements of drinking water are also made for the animals. Meanwhile, minor changes have been made in the diet of the animals as well.
