Punjab cop's hand reattached: 'Hand is having good blood supply', says PGIMER doctor

Chandigarh, Apr 21(ANI): Head of Department of Plastic Surgery at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Hospital, Chandigarh Ramesh Sharma informed about the condition of assistant sub-inspector, whose hand was chopped by a Nihang Sikh recently. Telling about the re-implanted surgery, he said that after seven days of surgery the hand is warm and having good blood supply and its surviving. On the normal functioning of the hand, he said, "We will come to know in the coming months. This patient will require lot of inputs from doctors, the effort from the part of patient is also required in the form of physiotherapy."
