Gilgit Baltistan, Jan 21, 2020: - Journalists in illegally occupied Gilgit Baltistan have taken to the streets against the government. They are protesting against the means and measures being employed by the administration to muzzle the voice of media. They say the local authorities who work at the commands of Islamabad use all tools at their disposal to block the content that is even remotely critical of the government. Any dissent or deviation from the prescribed government line is dubbed treachery and the journalists are made to suffer the damaging repercussions.
