Faced little difficulty while clearing Jamia, Shaheen Bagh protest sites: Delhi CP

New Delhi, Mar 24 (ANI): Delhi Police Commissioner, SN Shrivastava told that police officials faced a little difficulty while clearing the protest sites in Jamia and Shaheen Bagh. He said, “Action will be taken against all those who are found violating the prohibitory order under Section 144 Cr PC that is in place in Delhi. However, the response to the order has been good till now. While we were clearing the protest sites in Jamia, Shaheen Bagh and other areas today, some people have been arrested and detained as we faced a little difficulty. However, I am happy to tell that there was no resistance shown by people.” Delhi police cleared Jamia and Shaheen Bagh protest sites on March 24 as government imposed curfew in the city.
