Doctors, medical staff participate in mock drill to treat COVID-19 patients

New Delhi, Apr 01(ANI): Doctors and medical staff participated in mock drill to treat coronavirus infected people on April1. The mock drill included the procedure to wear a personal protection kit and other precautionary measures that need to be undertaken while treating COVID-19 positive patients and their samples. Dr Ravi Malik said that the mock drill was carried out to take the public and the patients in full confidence that just in case COVID-19 cases increase then doctors are completely ready for their treatment. On personal protection kit, Ravi Malik said that whoever is dealing with COVID-19 positive patients or their samples which includes laboratory staff, nurses and doctors should wear the personal protection kit. He said, "It is very important to save doctors and nurses because if doctors are not healthy then we will face a lot of problems."
