Delhi police conduct flag march in south district to maintain peace

New Delhi, 20 December, (ANI): Amid protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, Delhi police carried out flag march and foot patrolling in Saket area of South Delhi. During this exercise, senior police officials of South district police interacted with people and urged them to maintain peace in the area. Police personnel also distributed pamphlets to maintain peace in their area. These measures are part of the police efforts to ensure peace and law and order after violent protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act in several parts of the national capital. Requests are being made to not entertain rumours and verify from police before spreading them further. Police officials also advised the peoples to kindly verify the information before forwarding it via any media.
