Defence expert blames OBOR for mushrooming detention centers in Balochistan

Chandigarh, Jan 21 (ANI): Brig (Retd) Kuldeep Singh Kehlon on January 21 shared his views on detention camps being spotted in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa area. He said that Pakistan is working with China and detention camps are happening in Balochistan because of the One Belt One Road (OBOR). “Pakistan is working with China and it is happening in Balochistan because of the One Belt One Road (OBOR) which passes through balochistan. Balochistan Liberation Army has been apposing because there are natural resources and they know that the army will destroy the freedom, struggle, so now they have adopted these detention camps similar on the lines of the Beijing,” said defence expert retired brigadier Kuldeep Singh Kehlon. According to government sources, Pakistan is running dozens of ‘deradicalisation’ camps. A few thousands are in such camps. There are more than 80% people in camps with less than 35 years of age. 12% are less than 18 years of age.
