Delhi Police Chief flags off plog run for ‘Swachh Yamuna Tatt Abhiyan’

New Delhi, December 6 (ANI): During the ‘Swachtta Pakhwada’ to sensitize the general public and to increase their participation in the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan,’ Delhi Police organised ‘Swatch Yamuna Tatt Abhiyan’ at Kalindi Kunj Ghat. Focus is to clean Yamuna banks at Kalindi Kunj Ghat and making it free of plastic, solid waste. Participants also took pledge for cleanliness. Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik flagged off the plogging event. Plogging is a combination of walking and jogging and picking up scattered litter during the activity.
