Foreign chefs showcases skills to cook Japanese cuisine

Tokyo (Japan), Feb 28 (ANI): Traditional Japanese cuisine “Washoku” is simultaneously simple and complicated, plain and sophisticated. It is salty, sweet, sour, slightly bitter and full of umami flavors, and equal emphasis is placed on beautiful presentation. The Washoku World Challenge is a cooking contest for chefs of Japanese cuisine from all over the world who are passionate about Japanese food and are continually striving to deepen their knowledge and expertise.
