Gujarati researchers invent Solar-Powered Water Filtration Device

Vadodara (Gujarat), May 30 ANI: Researchers from MS University of Baroda, Gujarat Technological University, and the National Forensic Sciences University have developed a solar-powered nanotech water filtration device to address water scarcity in rural and remote areas. The portable prototype uses solar energy to eliminate bacteria, viruses, and chemical impurities, making it ideal for locations lacking electricity. This eco-friendly innovation offers a sustainable solution for safe drinking water access. The team of ten scholars has also secured a patent for the invention, showcasing the impact of collaborative, socially-driven research in India.
