Five years of PM Kisan Nidhi: Lifeline for 51.41 lakh farmers in Gujarat

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) has completed five years, emerging as a vital support system for farmers. In Gujarat, the scheme's effective implementation has benefited over 51.41 lakh farmers, with ₹1,148 crore disbursed in the 19th installment via Direct Benefit Transfer. To mark the anniversary, a Kisan Samman Samaroh was held in Gandhinagar, where CM Bhupendra Patel emphasized Gujarat’s commitment to farmers’ welfare. The scheme exemplifies Centre-State collaboration in building a self-reliant agricultural sector, ensuring timely financial aid to strengthen rural livelihoods.
