COVID-19 cases in India cross 84-lakh mark

New Delhi, Nov 06 (ANI): With spike of 47,638 new cases and 670 deaths reported in last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 tally reached 84,11,724 on November 06. Currently, there are 5,20,773 lakh active cases in the country while, the pandemic has taken 1,24,985 lakh lives so far. The recoveries mounted to 77,65,966 lakh with 54,157 new discharges in last 24 hrs. According to Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), total 11,54,29,095 lakh samples tested for COVID-19 up to Nov 05. Of these 12.20 lakh samples were tested on Nov 05.
