Study links eating meat, less microbiome with multiple sclerosis

New Delhi, Jan 29 (ANI): A team of researchers have reported that eating more meat, having less of certain bacteria in the gut, and more of certain immune cells in the blood, all link with multiple sclerosis. The study has been published in the 'EBioMedicine Journal'. Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease affecting fewer than 3 million people worldwide but costing USD 28 billion annually in the US alone--and untold suffering.
