Haridwar (Uttarakhand), July 14 (ANI): Meat shops in Haridwar will not open on the way to Kanwar Yatra and the counter of liquor shops will be allowed to operate on the opposite side of the road, informed Uttarakhand ADG Law and Order V Murugesan on July 13. “We have deployed an adequate police force in Haridwar. Meat shops will not open on the way to Kanwar Yatra and the counter of liquor shops will be on the opposite side of the road. All objectionable items will be banned.”
