They are working to promote measures for the welfare and resettlement of Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and families of deceased personnel of the Armed Forces. They are also maintaining up-to-date statistics of Ex-Servicemen (ESM), Widows, Dependants, and families of serving Defence Personnel under the head pensioners and non-pensioners for ESM and widows.
