Delhiites wake up to thick layer of fog, mercury dips further

New Delhi, Dec 26 (ANI): Delhi and its neighbouring areas in the National Capital Region (NCR) woke up to a cold morning and dense fog on December 26 as the cold wave strengthened its grip over northern India. Dense fog enveloped the national capital, bringing visibility down. The minimum temperature dropped to 8.4 degrees Celsius in the city. Commuters faced severe difficulty in the morning as the visibility was affected. IMD has also predicted that the cold wave will continue to grip Delhi this week and moderate to dense fog will be witnessed.
