AMC unveils Rs 250-crore startup policy, reserves 15% in mega projects

Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has launched the ‘Ahmedabad Innovation and Startup Policy 2026,’ positioning the city as a “living laboratory” for urban solutions. The policy reserves up to 15% participation for startups in civic projects above ₹50 crores and is backed by a ₹250-crore Innovation Fund. Startups can access financial aid exceeding ₹35 lakhs, tax concessions, and civic infrastructure support. Focus areas include traffic management and waste solutions.
