Why doesn’t PM Modi hold press conferences? Former Prasar Bharati CEO explains

New Delhi, June 15 (ANI): Known for his oratory skills, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is often praised for the use of digital media. However, the opposition including Congress has often trained guns on Prime Minister for not holding press conversances. During a joint PC of BJP in 2019, PM even tackled a question and passed it to then party president Amit Shah. Author and Former CEO of Prasar Bharati, Shashi Shekhar decoded PM Modi’s effective communication strategy. In a recent podcast with ANI Editor Smita Prakash, he explained how Prime Minister connects with the masses. Shashi Shekhar, is the author of book ‘Collective Spirit, Concrete Action’ which talks about Mann Ki Baat’s influence on India. Shekhar was also a member of Team Modi, which extensively campaigned in 2014 for Narendra Modi. In the podcast, Shashi Shekhar revealed ‘never heard before’ facts about PM Modi’s outreach programme.
