Watch: Solar eclipse begins in India

New Delhi/Jammu (J&K)/Mumbai/Gandhinagar (Gujarat), June 21 (ANI): A rare celestial event, annular solar eclipse, which is popularly known as the ‘ring of fire’ eclipse, begins in India as the moon started to cover the Sun. Delhi and Jammu & Kashmir observed the beginning of solar eclipse. Mumbai and Gujarat’s Gandhinagar also witnessed the solar eclipse.Started at 9:15 am solar eclipse will be visible till 3:04 pm. The maximum eclipse will take place at 12:10 noon Indian Standard Time (IST). It will be visible from Asia, Africa, the Pacific, the Indian Ocean, parts of Europe and Australia.
