“Was the sole breadwinner…” Brother of civilian killed by terrorists in J&K’s Anantnag

Udhampur (J&K), May 30 (ANI): A civilian from Udhampur succumbed to his injuries after terrorists opened fire in J&K’s Anantnag. As per the police, the deceased has been identified as Deepu from Udhampur, who worked at an amusement park . The police said that Deepu died after he was rushed to the hospital. Victim’s brother revealed that he was the only breadwinner of the family. The locals were outraged by this attack and were sloganeering against Pakistan. JKPDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti offered condolences to the deceased’s family and questioned the Centre. On February 26 this year a Kashmir Pandit, Sanjay Sharma was shot dead by terrorists in J&K’s Pulwama. Protests had erupted against the killings and “Kashmiriyat ko bacha lo” slogans were raised as tensions gripped Pulwama.
