Tour operator converts shop into Gujarati snack store to survive COVID pandemic

Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Aug 21 (ANI): COVID-19 lockdown has impacted many businesses. Tourism business is one of the prime sectors facing the impact. A tour operator in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad changed his tourism business and transformed his shop into Gujarati snacks shop to survive during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ajay Modi, who was a tour operator, also changed his profession to support his staff members’ livelihood and from going into depression during lockdown. Modi and his staff used their namkeen making knowledge to open the Gujarati snack store. The snack shop also follows and encourages social distancing norms. Modi opened the snack shop on his granddaughter’s name Kaavya.
