‘Total failure of AAP’, Congress accuses Delhi govt over Anna Nagar building collapse

New Delhi, July 19 (ANI): Congress blamed Aap Aadmi Party (AAP) government over Anna Nagar incident where an entire house building collapsed following the rainfall. Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee, Anil Chaudhary said, “Government has not prepared the state for the monsoon, main areas of the city have been submerged in rain water. This is total failure of Aap Aadmi Party (AAP) government.”The Member of Legislative Assembly, from Jangpura constituency, Praveen Kumar, said, “We are evacuating house nearby the danger area. We are sending people to safer place that lost their homes during the incident. The enquiry will be set up by the government in the matter.”An entire house building collapsed in Delhi’s Anna Nagar slum area following downpour on July 19. Several shanties were also damaged as road caved in. Heavy rainfall led the water-logging in parts of Delhi this morning. A dead body was also found under Minto Bridge.
