Speakers’ big praise for India 28th Conference of Speakers and Presiding Officers of Commonwealth

New Delhi, January 17, 2026: (ANI): On the third day of the 28th Conference of Speakers and Presiding Officers of Commonwealth countries, several international delegates praised India for successfully hosting the event. Canada House of Commons Speaker Francis Scarpaleggia called the conference “wonderful” and lauded the warm hospitality and excellent organisation, saying it helped forge new friendships. CPA Secretary General and former UK Minister Stephen Twigg also commended India and the Parliament of India for organising an “amazing conference” that enabled meaningful exchange of ideas across the Commonwealth.
