Sikh community opens kitchen service for needy amid COVID-19 pandemic

Amritsar (Punjab), Mar 31 (ANI): Nation is under 21 days of lockdown and it is fighting a war against COVID-19. Centre and state governments are taking every possible measure to stop the spreading of the dreadful virus. Lockdown has broken the daily wagers and marginalised people of the society; lot of them doesn’t even have food to eat. Considering the fact, Sikh community across the states came forward to help the needy. Kar Sewa Bhuri Wale Shri Amritsar has opened their kitchens and started 'langar seva' in which they are preparing food for of the needy. COVID-19 has claimed 32 lives in the country so far.
