Salman Khan breaks silence over students’ protest at Jantar Mantar over NEET Paper Leak

New Delhi, July 23, 2026 (ANI): Salman Khan have come in support of the students protesting at Jantar Mantar over NEET paper leak. Veteran actor took to his ‘X’ account, to express his sympathy with the students after Delhi Police lathi-charge. Praising peaceful manner of the students’ moment, Salman Khan said, “feel so sad that it had to take a violent turn”. “My heart goes out for the families who were hurt” in the police’s lathi-charge, said the Bollywood actor. He lauded the young generation and their parents for taking stand for a better education system for India. ‘This andolan, this protest, is the right way to go about it…’ Salman Khan expressed his support for the protest. He also alerted the youngsters against political hijacking of the protest by political leaders and parties. Protest “should not be hijacked politically, credit should only go to students”, said the Bollywood icon. He ended his message with the hope for a positive action by the Central government. Salman Khan’s message came two-days after Delhi Police used force to stop students from marching towards the parliament. Silence from the 3 Khan’s of Bollywood has been criticised widely since the protest got national attention.
