New Delhi, Feb 17 (ANI): Amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine crisis, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on February 17 informed that there are no immediate evacuation plans to rescue Indian Nationals especially students stuck in Ukraine, although they are monitoring the situation closely. “You would have seen developments being monitored by Embassy. They have issued couple of advisories. We've set up control rooms. I don't think any decision on evacuation has been taken, our Embassy continues to function normally and provide services to Indian nationals in Ukraine,” said Arindam Bagchi, MEA Spokesperson. “No immediate evacuation plans, so don't have any special flights. However, there were a limited number of flights under air bubble arrangements, restrictions on the number of flights and passengers removed. Indian carriers being encouraged to operate chartered flights between India-Ukraine,” he added.
