Kathmandu (Nepal), August 26, 2026 (ANI) On latest situation in the flood-affected areas, Jagdish Kharel, spokesperson of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, says, "The painful situation that Nepal is facing right now, the outburst of glacier lake from Tibetan side, has actually affected and damaged a very large number of lives and properties in Nepal. More than six districts are highly affected - Rasuwa, Nuakot, Gorkha, Dhading, Chitwan, and many more districts are affected. Most of the infrastructure in riverside are damaged now, and the search, rescue and relief action has been rapidly done by the government leadership, and most of the related mechanisms have been mobilized to the field."
