Bathinda (Punjab), Feb 15 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Jagat Prakash Nadda on February 15, cited the 1984 anti-Sikh riots to criticise the Congress Party, saying, “During the 1984 riots in Delhi, Congress leaders used to say ‘when a great tree falls, the ground shakes’.” “When people of Congress come here, ask them that when 1984 riots broke out and Sikh brothers were killed what did Congress leaders say? “When a big tree falls, the earth shakes.” When the dance of death happened, humankind was shamed, Sikhs were burnt, Congress said this,” said Nadda while addressing a rally in Bathinda.
