Protests against dams’ construction intensify in PoK

Muzaffarabad, PoK, 01, September, 2020:- The people of illegally occupied PoK continue to hold massive torch rallies in Muzaffarabad city to oppose the construction of mega dams by the Chinese firms on Neelum-Jhelum River. The protesters belonging to ''Darya Bachao, Muzaffarabad Bachao” meaning Save River, Save Muzaffarabad Committee have been shouting slogans urging Pakistan to roll back the decision of building of these mega projects in their region. They say they will not give in to any political or administrative manipulation and will continue their demonstrations until the construction site is shut with companies gone. They are slamming Pakistan for dealing with China on their resources and that too without their consent.
