President Kovind confers Swachh Survekshan Awards 2021 to cleanest cities

New Delhi, Nov 20 (ANI): President Ram Nath Kovind conferred Swachh Survekshan Awards 2021 to cleanest cities on November 20. Indore has once again adjudged as the cleanest city in India. Surat (Gujarat) and Vijaywada (Andhra Pradesh) received award for being the country's second and third cleanest cities, respectively. Ahemdabad Cantonment was presented the award for being the country's cleanest cantonment. The ceremony was attended by numerous dignitaries, including Union Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri, MoS Kaushal Kishore, Chief Ministers, Urban Development Ministers and Mayors.
