“Offers from major bilateral partners…” Expert says India's response to Trump’s tariffs has been measured

New Delhi, August 22, 2025 (ANI): President of Chintan Research Foundation, Shishir Priyadarshi, said, "... India's response to the so-called Trump tariffs has been measured. There has not been an outburst of nationalistic fervour... But every challenge opens up an opportunity... We have had offers from some of our major bilateral partners, we have had important statements made by both China and Russia, which give a little bit of comfort that if doors close in one region, then they may open in another region."
