Meet Siva Suryan, man on 10,000 km cycling odyssey to aware millions on environment

Srinagar (J&K), Jan 16 (ANI): In a unique attempt to raise awareness about climate conservation, Siva Suryan Senthil Raman, a resident of Tamil Nadu, has initiated a cycling journey titled "Pedal Up for Sustainability" to cover 10,000 km to educate and inspire one crore (10 million) students. The journey began at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar and is set to conclude in Kanyakumari. Bharatiya Janata Party leader Ashok Koul also appreciated the initiative and said that Kashmir needs more such programmes. Talking about the expedition, Sivasuryan Senthil Raman said, “The primary focus is on raising awareness about sustainability and environmental conservation through this extensive cycling expedition. You must have heard that this is the biggest problem in the world. We need to address that, and for that, I’ve changed my lifestyle accordingly. Every person should have a contribution to this goal.”
