Kashmiri govt school teacher develops mobile app to help students amid COVID-19

Baramulla (J&K), Aug 23 (ANI): In an attempt to keep students updated with their studies amid the COVID-19 crisis, a government school teacher from the border area of Uri in Baramulla district of North Kashmir has created a website as well as an android application for the benefits of the students studying at the school he is posted at. Aijaz Sheikh, who hails from Chandanwari village in Uri, has created a website for his school, Govt Higher Secondary School Nambla Uri where the students and faculty are being kept informed about various happenings. Sheikh has utilised the limited 2G internet services available in Kashmir to create a website and then, later, an android application-for making it easy for the students.
