Indian Army organises a two-day mega cultural festival at Kupwara in North Kashmir

Kupwara (J&K) June 14 (ANI): Indian Army organized a two-day cultural program titled “Jasha- E- Duugmulla " at Higher Secondary School, Drugmulla in Kupwara district of North Kashmir. The aim of the program was to help the youth of Kashmir in showcasing their talent and refrain from taking drugs. A large number of people participated in the event with full vigour and were seen enjoying themselves with their families on both days. The event also had a singing and dancing talent hunt, free swings and various games for children with attractive prizes. The event had a scintillating dance performance on Kashmiri songs by the Yumberzal Cultural Group. In addition to other cultural programmes, the main attraction of the mega event was an exhilarating performance by Kashmir's own Ishfaq Kawa who mesmerized the audience with his soulful voice. All the attendees went back satisfied as joyful souls with reverberating music in their hearts and thanked the Indian Army for organizing such a mega event. Local residents lauded this step taken by the Indian army as these types of programmes help youths to showcase their hidden talents and refrain from taking drugs.
