India, Japan ink agreement to bolster defense ties

New Delhi, Sept 11 (ANI): India and Japan signed an agreement on Reciprocal Provision of Supplies and Services (Acquisition and Cross-Servicing Agreement) between the Armed Forces of India and The Self-Defense Forces of Japan. The agreement was signed by Defence Secretary Dr Ajay Kumar & Ambassador of Japan Suzuki Satoshi. Pact is expected to smooth and prompt provision of supplies and services between the forces of Japan and the Indian Armed Forces. It will also promote closer cooperation between the defense forces and enable them to contribute to international peace and security.
