Washington (US), June 1 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the United States for an official state visit from June 21 to 24. Ahead of his visit, US India Business Council Atul Keshap said that the whole country is very excited for PM Modi’s visit. He said, “The world is watching. This is only the third state visit from India to the US. It is a big deal, a big honour for the government and people of India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming here. The whole country and city are excited and buzzing.” He also said, “If you look at the iCET that we helped launch here at the US chamber back in January with Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo and with the two national security advisors Jake Sullivan and Ajit Doval, that is to me as important as the nuclear deal.” “If you look at the pandemic and the lessons it has taught us, and you look at recent geopolitical events, the free world need to show a very robust deterrence. India and the United States can be the arsenals of democracy in the eastern and western hemispheres ensuring strength,” Keshap added.
