Gas, dairy, education: What households are expecting from Union Budget 2023?

Kolkata (West Bengal), Jan 29 (ANI): With the Union Budget 2023 scheduled to be presented on February 01, common households of the country have certain expectations. Being the last full budget by the PM Modi-led Government ahead of the 2024 elections, it has also raised a ray of hope among people to see some tax exemptions in the budget in comparison to other years. People also blamed COVID and the Ukraine-Russia conflict for the economy slowdown around the globe. Reduction in the prices of basic necessities was also among the top expectations from the people especially from the middle class families.
