First house completed for naxal violence-affected family under PMAY in Chhattisgarh's Balrampur

Description: Balrampur (Chhattisgarh), September 18, 2025 (ANI): Under a special project in Balrampur district of Chhattisgarh, families affected by Naxal violence and surrendered Naxalites returning to the mainstream were sanctioned houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). As part of this initiative, the district's first house for a Naxal-violence-affected family has now been completed. The family, which had been living for years in a makeshift thatched hut, has finally received a permanent roof over their heads. Expressing their gratitude, the family has thanked both the central and state governments for this much-needed support.
