New Delhi, October 22, 2025 (ANI): Leh MP Haji Haneefa Jan on the meeting between MHA officials and Leh Apex Body (LAB) and Kargil Democratic Alliance (KDA) sub-committee. "A cordial atmosphere prevailed during the meeting as both sides engaged in constructive dialogue on a four-point agenda. The discussion primarily focused on constitutional safeguards, with statehood and inclusion under the Sixth Schedule emerging as key issues.The delegation also raised Sonam Wangchuk’s matter, requesting the removal of the NSA imposed on him to ensure proper consensus and justice. Additionally, the reservation issue was discussed, and both parties agreed that further deliberations will take place soon to reach a mutually acceptable resolution."
