COVID-19: 'Over 2.6 lakh samples being tested everyday', says ICMR

New Delhi, July 09 (ANI): In media brief held on July 09, Indian Council of Medical Research's (ICMR) senior scientist Nivedita Gupta informed that more than 2.6 lakhs of samples for COVID-19 are being tested per day. She said, "The ramping up of number of labs is happening at a very fast pace. The number of tests has increased, on an average, we are testing more than 2.6 Lakhs of samples per day. We hope to see a further rise by the use of the antigen test."
