COVID-19: District administration provides eatables to needy in Coimbatore

Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), Apr 07 (ANI): Thousands of food packets were being prepared and served to needy people on behalf of district administration in Tamil Nadu’s Coimbatore on April 06 amid coronavirus lockdown. Several social activists are also engaged in serving food to needy and poor people. Nationwide lockdown has been imposed in backdrop of COVID-19 outbreak. There are total 584 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Tamil Nadu including eight cured and five deaths. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID-19 active cases rose to 3851 in India and 111 deaths.
