The announcement was made at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where the proposal was presented to hundreds of international investors. The proposed innovation city aims to create a global, plug-and-play innovation ecosystem, positioning Mumbai as a major hub for technology and innovation. Authorities said the location has been identified and detailed planning will take place over the next six to eight months.
