Hanoi [Vietnam], February 15: Recently, news that Marico Limited (through its subsidiary) signed an agreement to acquire 75% of the shares of Skinetiq (valued at approximately 1,000 billion VND in equity), co-founded by Hannah Nguyen (Hannah Olala), has attracted much attention.
A representative from Marico Limited stated that the investment in the company co-founded by Hannah Olala demonstrates the group's long-term commitment to building its beauty business in Vietnam, while also expanding its direct-to-consumer sales strategy in the international market.
"This collaboration helps us proactively capitalize on the growth of e -commerce and direct-to-consumer models in Vietnam, while also creating a foundation to introduce more new brands to the market in the coming years," the group stated.
At the same time, information related to Skinetiq also attracted much attention. Founded in 2020 by Mr. Bui Ngoc Anh and Ms. Hannah Nguyen (content creator Hannah Olala with over 1.9 million followers on TikTok), this is a Vietnamese business operating on a direct-to-consumer model, owning a skincare brand that prioritizes digital platforms and is based on scientific principles.
As the Vietnamese beauty industry undergoes a significant transformation, with approximately 50% of consumption now driven by e-commerce and social media channels, Skinetiq has projected revenue of 450 billion VND in 2025.
Mr. Bui Ngoc Anh stated that Skinetiq was founded with the belief that "Vietnamese consumers deserve access to high-quality skincare products, based on scientific principles and tailored to their needs." Regarding the collaboration with Marico, he believes it will provide the foundation, expertise, and resources to build a solid base for long-term and sustainable growth.

Her real name is Hannah Nguyen, and she is a beauty blogger and KOL (Key Opinion Leader) in the beauty industry, owning a TikTok channel with over 1.9 million followers. Her videos sharing beauty tips or introducing new product lines attract hundreds of thousands to millions of views, demonstrating the level of online interest in this content creator.
Back in May 2024, on her birthday, the beauty queen attracted attention by donating $1 million to UNICEF Vietnam to help underprivileged children access education, protection, and opportunities for a better life. In July 2024, Hannah Olala officially became a member of UNICEF's Global Donor Council. In September 2024, she garnered attention when she attended the Asian Summit with Choi Siwon.
