
Myanmar reports 2,938 new COVID-19 cases

Yangon (Myanmar), February 25: Myanmar reported 2,938 new COVID-19 cases, with a daily positivity rate of 10.31 percent on Thursday, according to a release from the Ministry of Health.
The number of confirmed cases in the Southeast Asian country has increased to 578,446, said the ministry.
The ministry also reported four additional deaths from COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 19,353.
With 1,350 new recoveries, the number of discharged patients has risen to 528,717 in the country as of Thursday.
Myanmar has tested over 7.02 million samples for COVID-19 so far.
