"When Linh sent me the script, I didn't find the beginning very appealing. But the plot became more interesting as I read on. Working with them gave me many enjoyable experiences. Each colleague has their own strengths and unique personality, which is what makes them artists. After a month of working together, we became as close as family," he said.
Currently, Meritorious Artist Duc Khue's criteria for choosing roles is that they must have suitable time so that he can fully concentrate on the project. The male artist believes that whether the role is short or long, and regardless of whose film it is, he will try his best when participating.
"When Phan Gia Nhật Linh invited me to join this project, it was at a time when the stage was already stable, so I went to the South to film for over a month before returning. The reason is simple: I'm like a silkworm, I have to spin my silk," the 60-year-old actor expressed.
Regarding the approximately 30-minute one-shot scene in the film, Meritorious Artist Duc Khue said that because he has worked in the field of theater, maintaining the psychological flow of the character is normal for him. According to the male artist, to create that segment, it required seamless coordination from each member.
"It's the same on set; the space is so vast, if anything goes wrong, we have to start over. Therefore, synchronization and professionalism must be top-notch. I'm very happy that my colleagues have completed the task," the 60-year-old actor confided.
