Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan sign agreement on coop in development of priority areas of industry

Bishkek [Kyrgyzstan], January 28: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan and the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan signed an Agreement on cooperation in the development of priority areas of industry.
The purpose of the Agreement is to assist, in accordance with the legislation of the states, to further strengthen cooperation in the field of industry on an equal and mutually beneficial basis and to determine priority areas for interaction.
The parties intend to develop cooperation in the field of industry in the following priority areas:
- light industry;
- electrical engineering and mechanical engineering;
- chemical industry;
- pharmaceutical industry;
- metallurgy;
- building materials industry, etc.
The Agreement was signed by:
- Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic DaniyarAmangeldiev;
- Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan LazizKudratov.
